How do i claim my childs in-office registration, and what does this do?
This is the final step of the in-office registration.
This ensures that you receive all the information that we send via mass email.

When you register online, you have to sign in to your account in order to register. The connection between the parent's account and the player profile is made automatically.
When you register in-office, we enter your registration into the database. The connection between the parent account and the player profile needs to be done manually. This is done by 'claiming' the registration.

When does registration open?
Estimated Registration Start Dates
Outdoor - February
Indoor - August(1st Season) & November(2nd Season)
Season Information will be posted within a few weeks of registration start date.

When online registration closes, registrations will be accepted (in the office) as space permits.
What if i can't afford to put my child in soccer?
All children should have the opportunity to play.

How do i know which age group my child would register for?
The current age chart can be found by clicking the REGISTER HERE tab when available. Players do not age up into the next age group until Indoor registration session.
Divisions are based on birth year.
What is the cost per age Group?
The cost for each season varies depending on age group.

Outdoor
Community Soccer (U4-U18) : May - June
Club Soccer (U11-U17): April - August
Indoor
Community Soccer (U4-U18) : Season 1: October - December
Season 2: January - March

What gear do I need to play?
Outdoor
Water Bottle: All Players shall have a water bottle. Dehydration and overheating is a real and serious risk to Player safety, especially in middle of summer with the amount of running they do. Children do not sweat as much as adults, because of this they cannot cool down as efficiently as adults. Therefore, water breaks are very important. Please make sure the bottle is properly washed between games.
Shin Pads: No Player will be permitted to participate without shin pads. These can be purchased from most sporting goods stores.
Sport Socks: Must be worn overtop and fully cover chin pads.
Footwear: Soccer cleats
Jerseys:
U4-U7 will receive jerseys that they will keep
U9 will receive a Jersey they will need to return or be invoiced $50.
U12 -U19 will receive a Jersey they will need to return or will be invoiced $50.
Clothes: Athletic shorts or warm clothes if it is cold(toque/gloves/sweat pants)

How long are the games? per age group
The length of game varies depending on age group. Please see the link "Indoor Rules" or "Outdoor Rules" in the main menu as all game times are listed within the rules.
What is RASC?
Rattlers Academy Soccer Club (RASC) is our club program for the more competitive player. This league runs from U11 - U19 and teams are selected through a try out process.

After U18 is there soccer in my future?
Players 16 years of age and older can join our Senior Men's or Senior Women's League. Please check the main menu for more information on Senior Women's and Senior Men's leagues.
Is there education opportunities for coaches?
Community Soccer: Coaches are volunteers and is it MANDATORY for all coaches and assistant coaches to attend a "Game Day" Clinic. There is no charge for this clinic.
Club Soccer: Coaches are volunteers that are expected to take Coach Training through the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP). There are no charges for these courses, provided coaches are actively coaching within our program.

How can I volunteer?
The MHSA has many opportunities to volunteer in our programs, we are always looking for coaches and assistant coaches.

What are the different levels of referees?
There are two ways you can qualify to be a referee in Alberta:
‘Mini Referee’ - to referee U10 or younger soccer. Anyone 12 years of age, or older (on or before May 15th) can sign up to take a
‘Mini Referee’ course.
‘Entry Level Referee’ - to referee U12 or older soccer. Anyone 14 years of age, or older (on or before May 15th) can sign up to take an
‘Entry Level Referee’ course.
Note: Referee courses for new referees are only offered in the Spring.

How are teams formed?
U5-U7:
In office blind player draft according to age and gender.
U9-U19:
